TOURNAMENT RULES AND REGULATIONS
* All games will be played @ Vanguard rink.
* The purpose of this tournament is to have
fun and fellowship. An atmosphere of
sportsmanship is our goal.
* $300/team tournament fee must be paid on
arrival (Alumni teams are $35/person). Please pay at the entrance to arena.
* If you need accommodations, please let us
know.
* To keep costs down, your team will need to
lines/ref during off games (see game schedule under officials).
* Please respect the ref’s calls, negative
feedback to them will result in a penalty.
* Once playoffs begin, please be sure to
check when your team officiates as this cannot be determined until after the
round robin has ended.
* 4 players plus a goalie are allowed on at
one time.
* 1 straight 40 minute period will be played
(the last 2 minutes of game will be stop time if teams are within 2 goals).
* No Contact, No Slap shots (keep stick below
knee). Slap shots will be blown dead and face off will be at the place of infraction. A penalty will be assessed if the referee
feels it is intentional.
* Penalties will be 3 minute straight time.
* No Red Line
* No fighting...automatic 5 minute penalty
and misconduct. It may also result in loss
of fee & expulsion from the tournament.
* There will be face-offs after every
whistle.
* Full equipment is expected.
* No skaters allowed on ice while Zamboni is
in use.
* There is a food booth at the Vanguard Rink
which will be open most of the weekend.
