William J. Millar Academic Centre
We are excited to announce that our long term plan to build a library and expand our classroom space is scheduled for soil turning this spring. We have prayed about this project for a number of years and God, in His faithfulness, has provided for the construction to begin this April with a proposed completion date of 2016. We had set the goal of raising $400,000 for Phase 1 (weatherproofed building) before starting. God has blessed us with these funds and we thank each one who has participated in making this happen. The building will add approximately 7000 sq ft of library space and will be attached to the classroom building which allows us to use the classrooms as study areas when they are not being used for teaching. The building will also provide a new front entrance and office area for the administration as well as connecting the classroom building with the Student Center and Dining Hall allowing students the blessing of remaining under roof in harsh winter conditions. We look forward to having this completed in approximately two years and anticipate doing most of the work with students, alumni, volunteers and staff. Our total estimated cost is $850,000 if we can do the work in house; we are trusting God for the remaining funds and will only build as funds are available. We want to take this opportunity to thank you for your participation in this project and look forward to your continued support.
