Replica is Millar College of the Bible’s traveling music team. This group of students will have the opportunity to lead worship, participate in youth and church events, and work with teens across western Canada.
Replica is a team of up to ten students with one college staff member. Auditions are held at the beginning of each school year. There are opportunities for singers, musicians and technical crew. Leading worship is the most obvious part of the ministry but other responsibilities may include counseling, chaperoning, speaking, taking part in skits and leading or assisting with games.
Replica was formed from a group that led worship for students on campus. An opportunity arose in December of 2004 to lead worship off campus and in the spring of 2005, Replica began. Since then the group has traveled throughout western Canada. They also had an opportunity to work with a mission organization in Greece and Albania in the summer of 2008.
Scripture shows us that God loves worship. Replica’s desire is to serve God and His Church by leading others in worship of our Savior and Lord. Replica draws on songs from Christian artists such as Jeremy Camp, Hillsong, and Chris Tomlin, as well as many others. Want Replica to visit your youth group?
