sunnybrae worship arts

The worship Arts Program at Sunnybrae focuses on equipping students to serve the local church.  We worship together three times a week on campus and send student teams to serve and worship together in partner churches on weekends.

Growing in Music & Tech experience

There are opportunities to participate in worship ministry at Millar both on and off campus. On-campus ministries include Chapel Worship teams, Vocal Teams, one-on-one lessons, A/V training, and weekend workshop on topics like songwriting.  This on-campus training is supported by serving in the local church through Field Education training with many of our partner churches

Classroom Instruction on Worship theology

Do you know why we do what we do when we sing in church?  Classes focus on equipping students with a robust understanding of God’s instructions for worship which then brings clarity to how we should do it. Multiple elective options with a worship focus are available each year.

Mentoring in Worship Leadership

For those who desire to grow in their ability to lead, there is an opportunity to lead a chapel worship team over the course of the school year. Men and women who are chosen for this campus ministry are part of a weekly class and intensive training time which focuses on developing leadership ability, communicating worship theology through service planning, and stage presence.

“Learning tools to bring back to the local church so that we might aid believers as they continue to understand God’s goodness and faithfulness has been so valuable”
