Israel Trip 2026

Millar College of the Bible is returning to the Promised Land, and you are welcome to join us! Don’t miss this opportunity to travel the land of the Bible and see the places where God revealed Himself to His people!

After landing in Tel Aviv, our group will spend a total of nine days on the ground travelling over much of the land and reading Scripture at places where significant biblical events happened. We will stay in Jerusalem for four nights, exploring the city and regions around it such as Bethlehem and the Elah Valley (where David fought Goliath, 1 Sam 17:2). Then we will have two nights on the shores of the Dead Sea, exploring the ruins of Jericho, the fortress of Masada, and the Wadi David. Finally, we will explore northern Israel, staying three nights in Tiberias on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. We will see Megiddo, Caesarea Maritima, Hazor, and a number of other sites and natural wonders.

Dig Extension: After the tour, some Millar students and alumni will be staying for a four-week archaeological dig at Tel Hazor in northern Israel. Tel Hazor is the largest ruin in all Israel at 200 acres! Millar teams have been involved in this project since 2012 and have had the opportunity to excavate the palace of the Canaanite king Jabin (Judges 4:2) and a massive Canaanite temple at the site. Our crew will join an Israeli-led dig team and stay at Am’iad, a nearby Israeli kibbutz with all the amenities of a hotel—a pool and air conditioning being the most important! A limited number of spaces may be available for non-students, so feel free to ask!

Tour only (June 10–20, 2026*) → $5600 CAD (INCLUDES: airfare from Saskatoon, Winnipeg, or Calgary; ground travel; hotels (2 people/room); site admissions; and breakfast & supper each day. DOES NOT INCLUDE: tips, travel insurance, or lunches and snacks). Single room supplement → $1150.
